The mission is to benifit the community traffic
safety programs serving South Bureau. These events require tremendous
commitment and support from Traffic Advisory Council members and
Officers throughout the City.
The funds are used to organize, prepare and
deliver traffic safety education in the schools and throughout the
community through a variety of programs and events. Police involvement
includes youth education on the hazards and reality of drinking and
driving through the "Sober Graduation" program, the "Bicycle Safety"
program, and the "School Safety Valet" program at grammar schools
throughout the City.
